House + wear was founded by Carrie Fundingsland, a Los
Angeles based interior designer and mother of two. Tired of the mass-produced products available, she first searched for a
line of home accessories that were unique to the American market. Excited about Hau Hauz’ heavily influenced Finish
and Scandinavian style and design, Carrie believed she had found the perfect product to launch her e-commerce site, houseandwear.com.
Since then she has added several interesting and unique lines, searching for young up-and-coming designers that not only share
her aesthetic, but her approach to business, life and family.
